Types Of Research
Qualitative Research - Qualitative research gathers information that is not in numerical form. For example, diary accounts, open-ended questionnaires, unstructured interviews and unstructured observations. Qualitative data is typically descriptive data and as such is harder to analyze than quantitative data.
Quantitative Research - Quantitative research gathers data in numerical form which can be put into categories, or in rank order, or measured in units of measurement. This type of data can be used to construct graphs and tables of raw data.
Types Of Data
Primary data is data being collected or obtained from a first hand experience. It can be received first hand. This can be done through an interview, when a person collecting the data sits face to face with the respondent.
Secondary data is data referring to data collected in the past or obtained from another party. It can be obtained from past surveys and questionnaires.

Understanding What A Music Magazine Is
A Music Magazine is a magazine dedicated to music and musical culture. Music Magazines typically include music news, interviews, photo shoots, essays, record reviews, concert reviews and occasionally have a covermount with recorded music. One of the first ever music magazine, 'Melody Maker' was released in June 1926 and including an honors list which was the first ever recored charts.
Different Types Of Music Magazine Genres include: Indie, Rock, RnB and House. The most popular music magazine in the UK according to sales is 'The Fly' this is probably due to the fact that it is a free magazine, the most popular music magazine in the world is Rolling Stone. The Future for Music Magazines however doesn't look good as a lot more people nowadays access music press via online, because of this circulation has gone down in recent years.

Hello, Welcome to my blog
My Name is Charlie Newton and I am an A level student at Cardinal Heenan.
In my Blog I will be including all of my Media Coursework and all my planning and my evaluation.
To support the research i will provide videos and images in my blogs. Also, I have purchased specific music magazines that focuses on my chosen music genre. This is to get a better understanding of the music magazines layout.
The types of music genre I have chosen to study is indie music. Types of magazines associated with the genre i have chose are the likes of NME and Q magazine.
