This blog piece is based on my ideas for my music magazine that I will produce such as the genre of music my magazine will be based on, the images I will use such as the main image and I will also show some examples of what I would like it to look like.
The music genre I personally enjoy most is Indie/Alternative rock and so my magazine will be based around this genre just like the NME magazine. I also have bought the NME magazine in the past and will use it as an example for the layout, contents, colours and images to use in my magazine.
The types of images I use will be off a 3 or 4 piece band such as this:
This picture is useful for a main image as it is quite a natural picture of a band, however I think in my magazine I will include images of a band or individual looking at the camera as this technique is used in quite a few music magazines. In my magazine I will also use images of individual people from a band such as this:
This image shows the individual looking at the camera, this could connote that he is serous about his music and we as an audience only concentrate on this, In my magazine I will use images of people with no facial expressions as I would like people to concentrate on the artists music, the picture is a neat one and includes some lighting which would suit the front cover of a magazine or even a page with content.
